The problem
We wanted to be able to choose from the same wheel options as everyone else, but our 15mm front fork meant we couldn't do it. Extremely limited, often lower spec wheels were the only option.
The challenge
Nobody made parts to convert our 15mm fork to 12mm and no one we spoke to had any plans to make them in the future. Their response was always, "buy different wheels," or "upgrade your whole bike."
The solution
No one was going to do it for us, so we decided to do it ourselves. We also figured it wouldn't just be us in this situation, so we kept going and developed a whole collection of thru axle conversion kits and components to allow riders to run whichever 12mm thru-axle wheels they wanted.
